Aaloo Bukharay Ki Chutney is very delicious chutni. it can easily made in home. In wedding it is the very important for the compete meal. It is sweet and very delicious.

Ingredients: 

  • 1/4 kg Dried plums (aaloo bukharay)
  • Red food color (optional) One pinch
  • 1/2 cup Vinegar
  • Red chili powder To taste
  • Peppers (ground) To taste
  • 1/2 cup Sugar or to taste
  • Salt To taste
  • 2 cups Water

  Directions:

  1. Add water, salt, red chili powder, and peppers to dried plums and boil till they get soft.
  2. Add sugar to them and cook on medium heat, until it melts and the mixture becomes a bit thick.
  3. Add food color, vinegar and boil for an other minute. It is now ready to be served with Nan.

  Ingredients:  

  • 1/2 cup gram flour:  
  • 1/2 cup rice flour:  
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar:  
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder:

  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda:  
  • 1/2 kilogram yogurt:  
  • 1 packet cream:  
  • 1 cup milk:

Directions:

  1. In a bowl add gram flour along with flour of rice, yellow food color, cumin, carom, baking soda and salt. 
  2. Now mix it well. 
  3. Now pour some water to make thick paste. 
  4. Now shape them in phulki style and fry it and put them in the water. 
  5. Now yogurt, cream, caster sugar and milk and mix them well. 
  6. Now take phulkis out of water and decorate them in the dish and pour the yogurt mixture on the phulkies and sprinkle chaat masala. 
  7. Tasty creamy dahi baray are ready to serve.

Ingredients: 

  • Cottage cheese: 1 packet (grated)
  • Gram flour: 1 cup
  • Egg: 1
  • Yogurt: 1 tsp
  • Soda bicarbonate: 1/2 tsp
  • Green coriander: 1 bunch (chopped)
  • Green chilies: 6 (chopped) 
  • Red chili: 4 (fresh)
  • White cumin: 1 tsp 
  • Chicken cube: 1
  • Salt: to taste 
  • Oil: as required

Directions:

  1. Add in gram flour, egg, yogurt, soda bi carbonate, green coriander, green chilies, red chilies, white cumin, chicken cube and salt in a bowl and mix it with luke warm water 
  2. Add in cottage cheese. 
  3. Heat the oil and deep fry the pakora in the pan till they are golden brown. 
  4. Take them out on a tissue paper. 
  5. Serve them hot with tamarind chutney or tomato ketchup.

Cheesy Bread Fingers

Truly scrumptious cheesy bread fingers are so easy snack or appetizer. Make and enjoy in iftar or tea time with dip or garlic sauce.

 Ingredients: 

 Cheddar cheese      ½ cup (grated)
 Bread slices            8
 Spring onion          2 medium (finally chopped)
 Black pepper          ½ tsp
 Chicken powder     ½ tsp            
 Salt                         to taste   
 Egg                        1 whole
 Oil                          for frying 

Directions:

  1. First cut the edges of all the slices and grind those edges to make crumbs.
  2. Next take a mixing bowl and put grated cheddar cheese, spring onion both parts (white and green), black pepper, chicken powder and salt together.
  3. Now press the bread slice with the help of rolling pin, add the filling on it and roll it carefully.
  4. After that coat that roll first in egg then in crumbs and deep fry it.
  5. Finally yummy cheesy bread fingers are ready to serve. Serve hot with chilli garlic sauce.

Nutrition Facts: 60 Calories, 75 Grams of Fat

Ingredients: -  

  • Chicken tikka chunks ½ cup (finely chopped)
  •  Potato 1 cup heaped (boiled and mashed)
  • Flour 2 tbsp heaped
  • Flour 2 tbsp heaped
  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Green chilies 2 (chopped
  • Egg 1
  • Sweet corn ½ cup
  • Capsicum 1 (finely chopped)
  • Cheddar cheese 3 tbsp (grated)
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Baking powder ¼ tsp
  • Red pepper 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:  

  1. Mix all above ingredients except breads and sesame seeds. 
  2. Cut each bread into 4 triangular pieces. 
  3. Spread lavishly with filling onto each bread piece. 
  4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, slightly press. Deep fry in hot oil with filling side first in oil till golden, serve with ketchup.

Fresco Dahi Baray By , Sept 7, 2013  

Prep Time: 2 Hours + 30 Mins ;
Cook time: 20 - 25 Mins
Nutrition facts: 134 calories, 68 grams fat




Famous fresco dahi baras can be enjoy at home with this recipe of Shireen Anwar. Enjoy in iftar with family and startle them with very close taste of fresco special.  

Ingredients: -  

Moong lentil flour 1 ½ cup heaped -
Water to make batter about 1 ½ cup -  
Soda bicarbonate 2 tsp -  
Salt to taste -  
Oil for deep frying -  
For Yogurt Mixture: -  
Yogurt 1 kg -  
Sugar ½ cup heaped -  
For Dahi Bara Masala: -  
Button red chilies 1 cup -  
Mace 1 tsp -  
Nutmeg ½ piece -  
White cumin 3 tbsp -  
Noshad 10 gram (grinded) -  
Black salt 1 tsp heaped -  
Oil 2 tbsp ...

 Instructions:  

1. For Yogurt Mixture: Take muslin cloth over a pan pour in yogurt hold ends together to make a pouch, squeeze out yogurt. 
2. Add caster sugar, put in fridge until required. 
3. For Dahi Bara Masala: Slightly roast button red chilies until lightly changes its color. 
4. Add oil also add cumin, nutmeg, mace, black salt remove and grind all well in grinder grinded noshad and right in the end. 
5. Fill bottle and keep use as require. 
6. For Dahi Baras: In a bowl mix together moong lentil flour, soda and water. 
7. Beat well keep for 10 minutes 
8. Deep fry, small balls onto oil fry on slow flame. 
9. Fill skillet with balls, when slightly golden remove the on high flame again fry them to a golden brown. 
10. Remove in a tray and cool then soak them in a big pan full of water with 1 tbsp salt. 
11. Soak balls for at least 2 hours. 
12. Squeeze out water from balls, put them directly into yogurt mixture. 
13.sprinkled with dahi bara masala.

Ingredients: -  
Chicken breast 4 (cut in finger) -  
Soya sauce 1 tbsp -
Chili sauce 2 tbsp -  
Yogurt 2 tbsp -  
Salt 1 tsp -  
Black pepper 1 tsp -
Curry powder 1 tsp -  
Corn crumbs 2 cups (crushed) -
Sesame seeds 2 tbsp -  
Oil as required ...

Instructions:
1-  Combine chicken strips with chili sauce, soya sauce, yogurt, curry powder, salt and pepper and mix well.
2- Marinate for 2 hours.
3- Combine the corn flake crumbs and sesame seeds.
4- Coat each chicken strip in the crumb mixture.
5- Place strips in a single layer on a greased tray, bake for 25 minutes until crisp and golden on 190 degree C or deep fry.
